I’m Kasey, a professional editor, proofreader, writer, and lifelong language lover. I help people say what they really mean with polish, personality, and purpose.

I graduated from the University of Montana in 2020 with degrees in both journalism and English with an emphasis in literature and creative writing, and a minor in women’s, gender, and sexuality studies. That academic foundation sharpened my eye for detail and taught me the power of precise, thoughtful storytelling—whether it’s in a news article, a novel, or a social media caption.

I have worked as a reporter for The Monitor, the Montana Standard and the Anaconda Leader and have a cumulative six years’ experience in news writing.

I’m also a trained transcript proofreader for court reporters with more than two years’ experience and a certified copywriter, so I know how to craft content that’s not only grammatically sound but also engaging, strategic, and aligned with your goals.

Words are my tools, but connection is my mission. I bring empathy and insight to every project, with a special interest in topics like:

As a Montana-raised editor now raising three incredible kids (plus two dogs and a delightfully demanding cat), I understand what it means to juggle real life with creative work. That’s why I show up with clarity, humor, and kindness — no matter how big or small the task.

As far as novels go, my interests lie primarily in thrillers and mysteries, romances, and literary and contemporary fiction. I love quirky characters, dark humor, satire, magical realism, and stories about the complexities of family. Although I primarily work in fiction, I’m also a sucker for an emotional memoir about unique life experiences that resonate with a wide variety of readers.
